Joseph Jung, born in South Korea. Immigrated to the US at Age 16. Graduated from UCLA with BS in Mechanical Engineering. Graduated from USF School of Law. Practicing law for 28 years, specializing in personal injury, immigration, and criminal defense.

Jung served as President of KONO [Koreatown Northgate Community Benefit District] since 2015 and President of Oakland & Eastbay Korean American Association from 2017 to 2021. Have been involved with many community organizations for the past 28 years, including President of SF Korean American Lions Club in 2010. Served as Chairman of Board for East Bay Korean American Senior Services from 2004 to 2008. Happily married to Suzie Jung for 28 years. He is a proud Oaklander and father of two, Eunice and Justin.
