Carol Hood is the Vice President and Executive Creative Director at Carol H. Williams Advertising, where she is leading the agency’s next chapter as a future-forward creative force. Under her direction, CHWA has embraced digital-first strategies to stay at the forefront of culture and innovation.
Recognized by Black Enterprise as a “multi-faceted creative” and named to the San Francisco Times 40 Under 40 list, Carol blends creative vision with strategic leadership. She holds an MA from Goldsmiths, an MFA Fellowship from SAIC, and is a recent graduate of Harvard Business School’s General Management Program.
Her award-winning campaigns for General Motors, Chevrolet, Disney, the U.S. Census Bureau, and Kaiser Permanente have earned accolades from Web Excellence, Ragan, and Macron Gold. She is also the founder of the Chevrolet Discover the Unexpected Fellowship, which has provided over $600,000 in scholarships to HBCU students.
A passionate advocate for equity, Carol founded the Amplify Awards and serves on the boards of AAF Bay Area and AAF National.
